Dead I-phone = The End of the World

The recent hub-bub was that the end of the world was going to happen today, May 21, 2011.  Let me assure you.....IT DID!!!!!  My precious, my wonderful, my baby, my I-phone died.  AAAHHHH!!!  I assure you, I did nothing but care for it on its death bed & mourn it once it was declared gone.  I did nothing wrong & it showed no sign of regressing health.  It was completely unexpected & heart breaking.  (yes.....I even cried!!!!)  However, the I-phone gods showed their mercy, and the phone was able to be brought BACK TO LIFE from the dead.  With the help of an extremely nice man at Double T Repair (plug for them...they were extremely nice and helpful & didn't charge me a cent for diagnosis)  he was able to revive the I-phone.  The I-phone unfortunately suffered a few life-changing scars along the way.

(DISCLAIMER:  The following statements will be very graphic & difficult to hear for the light at heart.  Parental guidance is suggested.)

The entire memory was amputated.  Yes, I lost over 500 pictures & videos of my adorable family & friends.  All my music, the past 6 months of work outs, my calendar, MY WORLD!!!!

For 1 ENTIRE DAY, 24 hours, a LONG LONG DAY....I had to use our back up Blackjack (which is a really great phone, just not an I-phone) with an alternate number.  Pretty much...no one could get in touch with me ALL DAY.  I couldn't remember the MILLIONS (ok maybe a little exxageration) of the contacts I had so I couldn't really get in touch with anyone.  It doesn't have a texting plan or a data plan so NO TEXTING for me, NO INTERNET for me, NO EMAIL for me.  Pretty much torture.  VERY PAINFUL.

In short, the End of the world was very hard.  Heartbreaking even.  I'm just glad the world was spared with the return of my I-phone & it's dilapidated state soon replaced with even greater memories & love & the wisdom to sync often.

Send me any info you think I need as far as contacts, photos, videos, what not, because I am rebuilding my world, My I-phone!!!!
